Amateur Radio Operators have licences to transmit, for which they have had to study and pass examinations. However this does not preclude the avid listener to participate in what is a significant scientific learning experience.

So in order to involve more listeners (and watchers), the following links point to sources of radio stations on which the listener can actively participate.

This one here is a tuneable web page that can give many an hour of simple listening. You may need to follow some instructions.

This one is of particular interest for my local radio club. Based at Hebburn, Tyne & Wear, again the station is fully tuneable.

For the watchers and listeners, I operate a digital repeater the dashboard for which is here. Listening is only possible with this link.
